Tonight tried going back to venice to get that sunset picture on film tonite. Stopped to get BBQ at Baby Blues BBQ. Wound up almost shitting myself and had to run into a restaurant and spent about 30 min blowing up the toilet. getting old sucks

D750 tests continue. Again, this works great with strong to mixed light. Conclusion is that its not fit for neons or other work in the dark

D750 continues. They set up the little corner area to look like a dingy Japanese train station convenience store. Looks bad ass. top tier artistry. Nice good mood setting red light. These are the hits. I need to get a better focusing screen. Pictures are acceptable, but Portra wins.

D750 tests continue. All of this is in the light cube. Here are some models and artists. If there is a big lesson I learned here, is using the P-mode figuring out a way to focus. lot of misses here that I otherwise nailed lighting and composition for either too slow shutter or focus miss.

LGFL 5 year anniversary party. Testing out my Nikon D750 on tricky lighting conditions. Lets start with some Mix lighting, where a single source lights the scene. Sets the mood. The lamp came out great, the neons, good. Still not as good as film tho

Holey fuck this is a lot of editing. I am trying to edit the LGFL 5-year party I shot in digital. 96 exposures(2 and a half rolls), and then piping darktable into GIMP. Fuck me. Big lesson. If digital photography is your thing: get a Mac and Adobe tools.
