Alright friends! Momo has received a new waterbottle! She is asking if some furry friends would be willing to gift her some puppy and kitten stickers for her waterbottle. We are also looking for some trusted friends to be our delivery agents because we dont wanna dox Momo.

She was doing so good today. They're now taking her for an emergency xray

Another update: following her blood transfusion yesterday, her hemoglobin today was 67. They've become more worried. She is having another blood transfusion today. They've called the hospice too to let them know she's not doing well.

Her Hemoglobin has dropped again this morning, now down to 61. We are ordering more stat bloodwork and her transfusion is being sent up ASAP.

We are in hospital for another 2-3 days at least. To start:The transfusion at the end of December did nothing Now, Her kidneys are 100pts above her baseline. They would have admitted us if they were 30 above so they're kinda !!! Creatinine baseline: 135 Creatinine current: 230

Momo is going for the second attempt at banding her esophageal varices! She has her buddy, Scotty, until we go in for the surgery. Good luck Momo! Varices are Grade 2 at position 5 and 7. The banding apparatus didn't fit last time so sclerotherapy is our back up plan if attempt 2 fails too.

The lack of US cons is definitely hurting me, from an income standpoint, but I refuse to go across the border during this time, even for leisure.

Until then just really going to be pushing for folks to come up to Canada, especially in regards to conventions. We have a lot of great ones up here and some new ones on the works too that could all use the support.

So last night we dealt with Momo refusing to eat, followed by her having a big low blood sugar (3.5 or 60) that we struggled to bring her up from at 2am. Multiple rounds of diarrhea and her IV almost came it when she tripped because of the low. It's been rough.

Momo is back in the hospital with gastro distress. Shes got fluids going and she's resting now. The hospice doctor said we came in at rhe right time and nothing is so out of control. This visit can be a relax in the AC and visit with our nursing friends.

Momo had her Cochlear Implant Device by #AdvancedBionics activated today!! Thank you to everyone who supported us in this journey and helped us get here!! She's going to be able to hear for Disney!!

Discharged tonight! Home and resting. We have follow up appointments but they'll be do-able as out patient ones. Kiddo has a good pain plan and now I am going to sleep like a... well... not a baby, maybe like a grand dad in a recliner chair.

We're still in the hospital. The damage to her heart from the surgery is more than we expected, and it's taking longer to recover. We are hopeful that the long QT syndrome she is experiencing is short-term and does not become chronic.

Momo is prepped and ready for surgery this morning. We got the call last week that she had a date for cochlear implant surgery. We did NOT expect this fast a turn around. It should be a three hour surgery. So starting at Noon, I should have updates for y'all.

Things aren't looking good for Momo. I'll keep you all posted. She is still chatty and positive but things are .. in the air.

Momo has to stay in the hospital over what was supposed to be Furry Camp weekend. She is devastated.

Still in the hospital and having some symptoms but feeling well enough to do a craft today.

Doctors have suggested she may have Sapovirus after a stool culture. I'll know more after rounds this AM.

She's back to refusing food. At least she is IV hydrated...

She is admitted overnight. While her vitals have improved, as soon as she ate, her symptoms flared. At least with 2L of fluids on board, we don't have to worry about her immediately dehydrating again.

Momo is back in the hospital with a flare up of her chronic pain, stomach distress, loss of appetite and thirst. Her BP dropped to 100/69 from her normal 117/80. Within the 1st hr they determined they would be admitting her overnight.

Momo's been having some pain most of this week. It's escalated over the last two days so we're heading to get checked out.

Updated hospital plan: We just saw our surgeon and they're planning to take her to the OR to remove 3 abscess/mass/spots in her inguinal node region. She's otherwise stable and tolerating everything pretty well.

In the best news ever, we hit our initial goal on our GoFundMe!! I'm so excited to share that our threshold goal has been met!! Waiting on final quotes from Insurance coverage for Momo and final travel quotes. We might have to update the goal to reflect costs. ^^

TW: hospital We are back in the hospital this morning with an abscessed lymph node. About to do Ultrasound, IV and antibiotics. Possible surgery; treating aggressively to avoid sepsis.

Today for Spring Break we went to Cultus Lake Adventure Park! So far we have braved so many rides! Even riding the honeypots solo!!

Yet the next lesson day, she got back up there. So very brave. I would have had a hard time getting over the fear.

Ridding a horse is scary! Especially a big draft horse, especially if you don’t have full vision like Momo. One time, as Momo was getting on, Tasha decided to just start walking, pulling her right off the block. We got everything settled, nobody was hurt, but how terrifying!

Momo has been home all day as it's spring break. Tomorrow we're supposed to have some doctor visits. Tonight we are bingeing a medical show, The Pitt.
