A trend i'm seeing with newer models are structured reasoning traces. Gemma 4 seems to generate alternatives then converges on a response.

This is actually surprisingly common. If all you're trying to do is provide a hint to a possible negative trajectory, a simple pattern might have a 60-70% accuracy which might just be good enough to filter out the easy cases.

Be careful where you put AI. Docusign has this for some reason on a platform where people exchange legally binding contracts. I struggle to think of a worse place to have this feature.

More work done with local qwen3.5:35b. I've been using it to generate convenience scripts to configure a new server with tools. Average context window consumption is ~60k. The CLI tooling is way ahead of the VSCode extension - but I like that it's simple so I'm not complaining.
