Another highlight this year: Jerome served as a technical reviewer for the GitHub Foundations Certification Guide by Ayo Aladejebi — architect, DevOps evangelist, and Senior Customer Success Architect at GitHub. His review helped reinforce the fundamentals our veterans rely on in engineering roles.

Continuing our year-end recap: Cloudinary featured Vets Who Code in a piece about the mission, the work, and how veterans transition into software-engineering careers. The article highlighted the strengths veterans bring to engineering and the impact of focused, mission-driven training.

A major highlight this year: Vets Who Code was selected by Candid as one of six nonprofits helping shape new AI tools designed to support small, mission-driven organizations. This work focuses on a key challenge: how lean teams can scale impact without shifting energy away from execution.
