My two pennies on ‘Epstein’: The whole episode has revealed a monumental web of deceit/crime. Can’t fully comprehend why it’s all being portrayed as if Jeffrey Epstein was a lone actor. He’d be deserving of the ‘criminal mastermind’ tag but I think it actually runs very deep with state involvement.

Halftime verdict: Fulham seem there for the taking on the basis of that first half. I think #MUFC looked very comfortable and I can’t see that necessarily being the case in the second half. Sticking with my 2-1 to United prediction.

These two together tend not to disappoint. Breaking Bad meets Training Day, The Departed, & Line of Duty. Teeters on trying to be a bit too clever at times. The fast paced nature of the film keeps you guessing…8 out of 10.

Some serious appreciation needs to go Carrick’s way. Big calls on Dorgu, Mainoo, Cunha & Sesko. His tactics have been superb so far and his substitutions equally as good. I still think he deserves a shot at it permanently if he does well. If the players are having him, so be it. 🔑 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don’t buy into comments made by people about the Premier League being of a rubbish standard. The competitive balance has levelled out massively & it’s a more even playing field nowadays. Also, the speed at which the players operate at is ferocious compared to past generations.

Valid point…what happens if Carrick secures Champions League football? Personally, I think he will deserve a proper go. Yes, it’s a risk and it could go all Solskjær but if a manager achieves their target then I think they should logically be rewarded. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Let’s hope the decision makers get it right.

The first Avatar was visually spectacular and had a good storyline. The second Avatar was unremarkable. This one also disappointed. It’s a franchise that’s repetitive and ultimately fails to live up to its promise. Rating Fire & Ash at 5 out of 10.

Thought this might’ve been a bit silly given the ending of the first ‘28 Years Later’ film but went along for the ride anyway. I’d rate The Bone Temple at 8.5 out of 10. Good watch and looking forward to the final instalment of the trilogy.

Not sure it’s really appropriate to rate a film such as this. I’ll just say it’s a timely and cautionary story.

A good cautionary article on the #MUFC head coach situation. James Horncastle seems to be channelling Confucius who said; “Study the past, if you would divine the future.” Except there’s a big caveat here…Solskjær did very well as a previous interim Manchester United manager. 🤷🏻‍♂️

As if his first term in office wasn’t bad enough, his second will be documented in history textbooks as a ‘reign of terror’. That goes for both the domestic and international spheres.

Finally watched this last night. Didn’t fancy it at all, hence the lateness to the party, and 20mins in I didn’t fancy my chances of finishing it! Stuck with it though and it’s actually a very clever film. Woke up this morning feeling Kenough. 🤣 Gonna rate it at 8 out of 10.

Solskjær wasn’t given a fair crack of the whip at #MUFC. He’s the only ‘PE teacher’ I know who’s happened to have won virtually everything in professional club football. His vibes were good. What wasn’t good was when United brought Ronaldo back and it messed the whole dynamic up & any progress made.

For better or worse, #MUFC managers and players will come and go. The important thing is that the club endures throughout. Man Utd has had more challenging times than this, so, as fans & supporters, let’s look forward and take our feet well and truly out of the past. Support for a rebuild required.🫵🏼

I’ve got a hunch that #MUFC will appoint a certain Sir Gareth Southgate as manager & I reckon it’ll be a Solskjær situation. INEOS will contract him until the end of the season but in the hope that he does well so they can extend beyond that. The club branded waistcoats are already in the Megastore!

Amorim definitely needed more time to implement his philosophy/style/tactics because the vast majority of the players at his disposal are unsuitable for it. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the next #MUFC manager(s) will have the same problem or be given the same leeway, however the case may be.

Good, measured piece from Carl Anka. This isn’t just about Amorim because INEOS have now put themselves in the firing line by sacking him. Sir Jim Ratcliffe & Co. will need to move very quickly to appease fans. They were on thin ice and now it’s started to crack as far as fans are concerned.
