Full-time verdict: Yes, Wolves are bad, but that’s a solid win. Also, the scoreline doesn’t always reflect a game. I thought #MUFC were playing decent in the first 30mins but people are often blinded by the little box in the corner of the screen. It’s understandable given United’s track record. 🙄

Halftime verdict: I’ve liked that #MUFC didn’t always choose the easy pass in that first 30mins at least. They’ve been guilty of taking too many touches/making too many passes in buildup recently so it was nice to see positive & confident play. Absolutely criminal to concede in added time though.

Scholes & Mainoo: Both made a similar amount of starts in their first couple of seasons for #MUFC. Two obvious talents separated by time & the fact that Scholes had an established team with complimentary players. Mainoo needs to go on loan because United just isn’t the right environment for him.

I don’t think some fans realise what they’re calling for. The decision makers at #MUFC seem to have realised, not before time, that it might not be the host of sacked managers that were the problem. The same ‘spine’ of players have seen off several of them. The rebuild is serious this time around.

I’m hurting like everyone else, but #MUFC are: - Level on points with the champions - One point behind the FA Cup winners - Two points away from a CL spot - Playing in the most competitive league in the world where anyone can take points off anyone else - Twelve months into an umpteenth rebuild

I thought #MUFC were better in certain areas tonight. First half intensity and movement was arguably the best I’ve seen this season…that’s not saying much though. Second half you just want them to kick on and go for it but they decide to try & defend the lead only to make a mess of it.

Full-time verdict: One point more than #MUFC got against WHU last year. Too wasteful in the end and the main culprits really should know better. United are still a 45-60min team & we need to accept that. Collective mental fortitude is clearly an issue as they simply can’t defend a lead.

Halftime verdict: Thought that was some of the better football #MUFC have played this season. Intensity and movement can’t be faulted. Just lacking that incisive last pass and a clinical edge. United seem intent on winning a penalty tonight. AWB nailed on to be MOTM. 😏

Last night’s results proved again that the competitive balance in the PL has levelled out massively. I know PSR etc. is seen as a bit dull and lifeless but I’m surprised there’s not been more talk about this. Changes afoot that could impact the competitive balance and PL scores even further.

If there’s enough pushback on a social issue then political parties will eventually succumb. God forbid we get politicians & politics that are proactive and original.

I’m guessing #MUFC will probably be forking out £100m+ on a CM in the summer. The attacking ‘Galactico’ type players coming in at that value rarely work out. There seems to be more success with CM’s valued at that though. But even Rice, Caicedo & Enzo took varying amounts of time to settle in.

Halftime verdict: Ridiculously soft penalty to give away. Infuriating. I know #MUFC have probably been instructed to play quickly but I think they need to relax a bit more. They’re rushing it, trying to force the pass and turning over possession too easily.

It’s maybe the case that I’m just old but music doesn’t seem too great at the moment. Songs from ten, twenty years ago that were considered album-fillers are now sounding like masterpieces when compared to today’s dross. 👴🏼

Lots are jumping on the bandwagon and slating Your Party for the alleged bickering. It’s what politicians do best though and that’s across the board! PMQ’s, Question Time, Newsnight etc. etc. are testament to that. The Establishment would sooner watch the world burn than see a successful Left party.

I watched the original IT when I was far too young and was scared stiff of going into the local woods for a good while afterwards! 😆 If you like the films then this series is a must watch. Proper twisted horror. It’s been 8 out of 10 so far.

We’re led to believe that Sesko has sky high potential. I don’t quite understand why his recent absence from the team is widely regarded as a disaster though. It’s not like he’s been banging ‘em in like a young Haaland and he’s definitely not the remedy to all United’s woes. 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️

I did jury service at a young age and subsequently went on to do a law degree. I tend to agree with the author here. I think maybe it’s time to make the juror a profession since legal matters are often complicated & very complex. There’s no place for illiterate & ignorant jurors.

A lot of us have mocked Arsenal for persisting with Arteta over the last few years. He’s shown what can be achieved if faith is shown & patience is afforded though. Not sure how it’s gonna pan out with Amorim, but let the Arsenal model be a cautionary tale for what faith & patience can achieve. ⏳
