Went for a walk in the sun today. I was watching a group of 20 goosanders on the river, looked up and saw three foxes chilling on the opposite Bank in the sunshine 🥹

We had pouring rain yesterday so the moss has gone from crispy to lush. I went to visit the wood that's teeming with one of my favourite species, Hookeria lucens and it looked gorgeous. The leaves are a single cell thick & transparent. You can see each cell. #moss #botany #macrophotography #nature

Current #WIP is a moss and lichen covered twig. I used to do moss and lichen all the time when I started hand embroidery almost 10 years ago, and often come back to it. It’s a bit of an obsession. I don’t quite like how this is looking but it’s all part of the process 🙃
