Incidental or not, AT's mass & inertia put Collier down. AT, at 6'2" 203 lbs, and Phee at 6'1" 180 lbs, ran into each other attempting a fast break. The Fever was cured by o so many Aces baskets that just kept falling from all around the court. IND just couldn't challenge Las Vegas offensively or defensively, bringing game 3 to Gainbridge, and hopefully for the fans, a rested Fever. Scoring leaders Ace's Wilson with 25 & IND Sim's with 18.

The Aces wanted a quarter in the semis and finally got two of them. The Fever heated up in the 2nd and are chipping back, so don't go to sleep yet. Fever's Sim's and Mitchell took elbows to the nose, but no fouls were called. Aces have the special whistle tonight, so good luck on your bet, ref. 😉

Mercury turned up the heat in the 4th! Whitcomb hit a game-tying 3 in the last seconds of the game, taking it to OT! Clawing back after an ugly 1st half for PHX, MN held an impressive lead that the Mercury chipped away. MN Collier & PHX Sabally for 24 led shooting. Largest comeback in WNBA history!

Game One Done! The Mercury turned up the heat on the Lynx, but in the second half, they just fell apart. Weird, though, as PHX owned the paint all game long. In a physical matchup, both teams had players on the floor (as expected) as the series continues. MN Williams shot for 23, PHX Copper for 22.

PHX Mercury has pitched a tent up in the MN Lynx paint & owns it. MN inched back in the second quarter with plenty of good shots & Williams/McBride getting touches. But the Lynx better find some defense if they want this game. Watch out for AT, who is racking up rebounds & assists & is focused.
