We've lived on this property for 13 years and I've been trying to catch a quoll on my trail cams basically since we moved in. Never seen one. But today one turned up and tried to break into the (fortunately secure) aviary. This is the most exciting thing ever. #wildoz #ausmammals

It started pouring with rain on our walk yesterday. Anyway fun fact turns out pelicans drink rainwater by just sitting there with their bills open. They even moved to align themselves with the direction the rain was coming in. So that's cool. #ausbirds #wildoz #pelican

We’re now on day 6 of being trapped in our street by flood waters and today, finally, there is a blue sky. The birds are enjoying the new lake, but hopefully it will start to drain away soon.
