40 percent of Americans are actively evil and another 20 percent simply don’t give a shit about anything. I don’t know how you maintain a country based on that.

Sure, America has decimated democracy and the rule of law, dismantled its government, universities, and scientific institutions, and embraced ethnic cleansing and war crimes, but at least the president isn’t a woman, and that’s apparently the most important thing to most Americans.

All of this—the chaos, the dysfunction, the cruelty, the ethnic cleansing, the corruption, the mass death—is what Americans wanted: This is what the people voted for.

The invasions and occupations of DC and LA are about one thing and one thing only: Normalizing the presence of the military in American streets. It is a classic hallmark of fascism.
