I think ive decided to place the next game in a rural American / ranch setting. a "Trans ranch" if you will

I love how quietly my music has spread out into the world and come back to me. Im going to release “cherrys dungeon”s ost into the royalty free music library along with my other works. The tracks with live instruments will make a great addition.

Cherry's Dungeon Quest update! I reworked the hidden quest in level 4. there's some new dialogue and a little story moment too. I forgot to add the localization though so, there will be another small update soon.

going to be doing alot more work behind the scenes. laying the groundwork for the next project if I can, i'm also taking care of some buisness related things

I'm not really leaning towards finishing any of my half-finished projects from before. I've gained a-lot of experience from making the first game and I have one other person joining me to help the next project when we decide what that is. "Cherry Games" is now a two-person (all trans girl) studio!

Continuing to refine Cherry's Dungeon post-launch just pushed a bunch of new fixes to the game the "are you a girl" question was confusing for a lot of players so I've clarified its a pronoun change only. rest of the bug fixes are on the steam patch notes if anyone wants to read them.

Updating "Cherry's Dungeon" so it should work on older version of proton (steam deck) Once the update drops in a few minutes it should no longer require "proton-experimental" and should just work out of the box.

Tommorow is the day! I'm finalizing some of the translation features, the game is machine translated by the latest and greatest tech and there is an in-game reporting feature so anyone who wants to help improve the translation can easily report something or suggest an improvement. 10 languages!

Due to the limitation of needing to give apple $100 to port my game to macOS the mac version of cherry's dungeon will be delayed until after launch. Luckily the game works well on linux via proton, and should work on crossover/whisky.

Originally was going to just let the player be trans full stop but I did add the option to change pro-nouns and gender identification in cherry's dungeon because why not after all?

I would have the steam page up already except steam basically requires adult games to be mostly finished before you can even submit for having a page. I could alter the description and start marketing a version that doesn't match the final scope but why would I do that?

We will be ramping up the marketing efforts for the game soon! as the game becomes more complete, we will make more videos, promotional materials and of course start accumulating wish-lists on steam. 99% of my effort is still going towards the game itself rather than marketing.

MAybe a slight detour of my time and effort but we created a cutscene IDE for the project. now the characters will be much more animated and make use of their sprite variations :) you can even record custom motions inside the editor! way better than ren-py!

Little details like her reflection on the other girl's armor are what I'm most proud of in this game!

My technique for painting cum is to go in with the soft-round brush, then to apply the plastic wrap filter, then go back and blend more. maybe simple, but it creates a sticky, gooey texture that's great for cum-shots!

Level 1 reached a playable state yesterday! Now to work on the rest of the 9 levels....

As an artist I was taught to hide my process to preserve the magic and impact of my artwork. But due to technological changes which shan't be mentioned here I've decided to share a little bit of my process. my workflow is heavily digital and I use digital references extensively. but its real art.

I implemented a minor domain specific language (which I've named "dick sucking lang") into my game to script events and dialogue, It's allowing me to write tons of content into this game with less effort, even though it took me a year to set up my framework! it will have been worth it.

Programming visual effects is such a pain, I have to make so many tiny little icons and visual masks. the player map icon sums up my expression perfectly Dx progress continues

adding some last details this part of one of the hidden scenes in level 1... but you won't get to see the whole thing unless you buy the game when it comes out :P

Level 1 is nearing completion! I've improved the design and gotten rid of the valve developer graphics all the visuals for level 1 has been done! and that also means the framework programming of the game is largely complete. I expect it to go faster from here!

I made this sprite sheet for a rpg-maker project which I was intending as my first game. after emerging from my hyperbolic time chamber, I got better at programming, so I decided to work more on my own visual novel/map exploration game hybrid framework.
