the re-routed version 4 of the MNT Reform Next motherboard arrived and @theawesomerandomness assembled it yesterday and i immediately tested the camera's usb3/superspeed modes, and yeah, the new routing and stackup made it work, at least on one of the two internal usb3 controllers!
