Is there a way to control which window gets opened first in a macOS app using the SwiftUI lifecycle?  I know, I know, I should just use AppKit, but is there a way to do it in SwiftUI?

We are currently working on the next big #Macrowave feature for macOS and iOS. A private P2P chat room that's available for all listeners and the broadcaster. The chat is ephemeral and is only stored as long as the station is on air. Let me know if you want to try this together.

The new App Store website is written in Svelte and way faster than the App Store app.  Maybe Apple should rebuild their App Store apps using Svelte.

Always test your apps IN PERSON with real people by looking over their shoulder.  You will learn more from one person than from 100 TestFlight users.  Writing it down here because I keep forgetting it.

If you have the choice to buy an app via the App Store or directly from the developer, always buy directly from the developer.  I don't understand why I need to learn this lesson over and over again.

Was working on the settings screen for the iOS version of #Macrowave today and needed a new mobile toggle component.

Learned this trick to reset privacy permissions for specific apps on macOS. `tccutil reset All ${BUNDLE_ID}` This resets all privacy permissions for the given bundle identifier. I found this to be super helpful when testing the first launch experience of my apps. lucas.love/til/reset-ma...

Recently learned how to properly test universal link handling on macOS with the `open` command.  `open -a /path/to/app.app "${YOUR_URL}"`  Super useful when you need to target your debug build directly. I wrote more about it here:

I am finally getting around to adding iCloud Drive support to #Pagi. The current issue I am facing is that the Pagi folder in iCloud Drive seems to exist when navigating there directly but won't show when I open the iCloud Drive folder directly. Am I holding this wrong, or is this an iCloud bug?
