This past Wednesday, I had the opportunity to participate in a gubernatorial forum for SCbio to discuss my vision for the future of life sciences in South Carolina. Education, trade schools and believing in science will help grow this vital industry. #NewSC

Mama Mattie Thomas is the definition of matriarch. I so appreciate all of her love and guidance over the years for me. Not just in politics but the parental love. We need more of this type of love in South Carolina. #NewSC

A few years ago, I sponsored a proviso that created this department. We have to save lives and this is what it is all about. I’m calling all of my law makers who say they want to end the violence epidemic in South Carolina to attend this event.
