Returned home and there is still an internet blackout across three towns but my room is fitted out like a Blockbuster. On our media consuming quest we shall prevail.

I have been without internet or stable 5G for 4 hours now and I can feel the regression to early man happening at a rate never previously seen before. I may be left to walk barefoot collecting rocks while marvelling at cloud formations if I don’t get to consume a media shortly.

Experiencing flashbacks of Elden Ring’s Caelid while in Returnal’s Derelict Citadel.

It kind of irks me when tv adaptations of book series are sanitised so much they lose their spark. The Rizzoli & Isles thrillers are brilliantly dark and graphic only to be turned into a generic day time crime show. And I fear the Scarpetta series may suffer the same fate.
