Essential spooky season viewing: Office Killer (1997) Such an underrated little film. Only one acclaimed photographer Cindy Sherman ever made. Has my favorite Carol Kane performance ever. Also, this film inspired my “corporate downsizer” costume that’s possibly my fave I’ve worn 😂

For you, Diane! 😭 This little movie was savaged by critics when it came out, but I’ve always kinda adored it. You wouldn’t think it, but it has been a go-to movie of mine at times in my life of anxiety and bedridden sadness. Diane Keaton’s comforting, radiant screen presence eased that. RIP, icon ❤️

Seeing Garbage was so special! When they announced it was likely their final US headline tour, I took it as a sign to splurge for the VIP experience and I’m so grateful I could! Front row, within a few feet of an icon and total role model of mine hearing songs that mean everything to me? Perfect🥹

Happy 10th (!?) anniversary to Veruca Salt's reunion album: Ghost Notes (2015) By far THE greatest reunion album ever made. A perfect blend of picking up where they left off, but embracing a maturity. I'm always moved to tears in the end by it with its messages of nostalgia and reconciliation

Todd Solondz's Palindromes (2004) at last making its Blu-ray debut! Todd Solondz is probably my favorite filmmaker. His dark sense of humor is unmatched and his compassion yet unbiasedness for his character is remarkable Palindromes is both one of his best and most disturbing films. Unforgettable

Need The Breeders this evening 😉 Happy 35th to their debut masterpiece, Pod! Will never forget hearing it the first time and just being blown away by its simple yet inventive hooks. So happy I got to see them perform some of these songs when I saw 'em back in 2018. Love my Pod tee, too!

Companion (2025) Blu-ray Really enjoyed this one! Perhaps a bit overkill in the end but I had fun with it and was invested in the story. Sophie Thatcher could be reading from a phone book, and I'd find it captivating. Always nice to see Mr. Jack Quaid, too ❤️

Today is the 20th anniversary of when a 10-year-old me rented a little movie called "Scream" on VHS for the first time from his small-town Tennessee video store📼 It changed my life and has, since then, remained my forever all-time favorite movie🥰 Happy 20th anniversary, my eternal fanboy love ❤️

Finally saw Ryan Coogler's Sinners! I gotta say: Believe the hype, because it was dang good! So well-crafted. Every scene felt significant to the plot and character development. Jordan was spellbinding! Also, some local record store scores! 🙌📀 Was such a great Saturday! Hope yours was as well! 🤗

Watched Haunt (2019) for the first time last week and was thoroughly surprised by it! I thought it was fun, and I really liked the final girl and attention to characters. Knew immediately I needed to buy a copy, so I did 🤡
