Third game prototype finished and fully ready for testing. Have an idea for two more I’m going to start working on. Wish I had the knowledge and funds to take one of these farther than my janky hand-made state. But I’m having fun doing this.

Look what my friends made me for my birthday!

Fed the dog, worked on another new board game, cleaned up my beard, had a nice shower, and now it’s nap time.

Had the first play test of my new game yesterday and got great feedback. Implemented it and we’re going to play again today. Looking like it’ll be another yes!

River Valley Glassworks - today’s board game

After extended listens, I think Revelation by The Knocks and Dragonette is my favorite new release so far.

I just saw someone with a backpack that looks like Bowser’s shell and I think that would look amazing with a Juicy, the Princess tshirt for Pride.

I’m over work today. Can it be this afternoon already?

New albums by Marina and The Knocks are both really good. Now to listen to Miley and see if we have a trifecta.

I just passed someone on the street whose shirt, I would swear, said “Juicy, the Princess” As I approached, I saw it actually said “Enjoy the Process” and was devastated.

I’m wearing a jock today and the fabric of my shorts is so soft and malleable, it keeps getting caught in my butt crack. I just thought y’all should know. Also, it’s a gorgeous day today.

Whenever I walk the dog, I see posters for a fundraiser for cancer research. The poster's headline is, in all caps, "CURE CANCER FASTER" and it feels like it's yelling a command at me.

Inspired by @mowxla.bsky.social, I decided to mock up what my next tattoos are going to be. It's a dragon and the player with a sword from the game Adventure on the Atari 2600. The first "role-playing" game I ever played and the game that made me want to make video games. So it means a lot to me.

It’s amazing how my eyebrows can go from “well-adjusted suburban dad” to “mad scientist” literally overnight.

Thoroughly enjoying Fantasy Life i with a couple of minor quibbles. 1) The mini-game is the same for all crafting lives and isn’t very fun. 2) The quest designers are too fond of “Go all the way over there and then immediately back to where you were.” But I’m loving it and I’m glad it’s back.

The text in Fantasy Life i doesn’t use the Oxford comma and that drives me insane.
