Hey everyone, good news: I’ve got my rollator! I received her in December and have been trying her ever since. Earlier this week I took her out in the snow and she did really good. She’s very sturdy and I walk so much better with her. Here’s a video of her in all her glory ❤️

New day, new book.

March was a good reading month.

“Alligators might attack to defend their territory, but men attack to make their territory.” A haunting, dystopian and queer eco horror story filled with Vietnamese folklore, family, culture and identity. Just the cover alone deserves 5 stars! They Bloom At Night by Trang Thanh Tran.

If you are claiming to fight fascism in any shape or form but are ableist and use ableist language, you’re not fighting it, you’re part of it.

I see a lot of people reading/recommending Sister, Maiden, Monster by Lucy A. Snyder. I would like to point out that one of the characters mentioned Jeffrey Dahmer & uses the name of one of his victims. An actual real victim. This doesn’t sit right with me & it did absolutely nothing for the story.

I’m having a very bad day health wise but I did however start this book, The Memory Police by Yoko Ogawa and I’m really digging it so far.

I don’t know what’s going on but I've been in the biggest reading slump for weeks now. All these amazing books just standing there, staring at me. I don’t like it.

One of the worst things about being chronically ill and being a creative is having a head full of ideas and inspiration but not being able to make them happen. I have such amazing ideas brewing for photoshoots but my body just keeps saying no. It’s really so depressing.

The base is done. Now it’s time for details. I love how it’s coming together.
