It's been *checks watch* three months since I last posted. An extremely busy three months. Been writing a novel, starting DMing a Dnd campaign for the first time and completed a project and showed it off to some industry people. Thinking of focusing on some YouTube stuff for a two months or so

Attended AWS in London yesterday. If you don't know what it is, it's a big Amazon Tech Summit. If you work in the tech industry in any capacity and refuse to use AI, they are going to just replace you. The industry is about to shift massively and adapting is the only way to guarantee surviving

The Netflix DMC show is peak and I refuse to hear otherwise

26k words into the first draft of the book I'm writing, nearing the end of Act 2 and heading into Act 3. Writing a novel is extremely different compared to how I write stuff for the game I'm working on. It's been a fun experience

Game is good

Nearly 11 hours later Split Fiction is finished. Jesus Christ the final level is insane. 10/10 game, immediately my game of the year

On the final level, 10 hours of playtime later, 2025 is still young but it's probably my GOTY already

Started Split Fiction today, on the funny dragon level, planning to play the whole game in one day

I really hate the attitude towards The Days Gone Remaster, I've seen way too many people trying to encourage others to support this cash grab because it has a very slim chance of leading to a Days Gone 2. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but a £10 cash grab isn't going to spawn a sequel

Started Avowed and so far the presentation is solid. The intro cutscenes are interesting and the actual game controls really well. The graphics are solid I don't why I was seeing people claim it's "Xbox 360 era Graphics" and the gameplay is solid. Going to go for a magic build
