I hate the doomscrolling encouragement of social media. I hate how everyone just wants to yell and complain about everything (ironic, yes.) I hate the mass circlejerking about things/people they hate. Everyone just wants to breed negativity and anger.

Likely an unpopular opinion, but I never really liked vtuber stuff. I find it distracting and would rather watch a more typical style of commentary. Either just narrate or record yourself. It feels like a "let's put subway surfers on the side of the video so people are engaged" idea.

I find it sad that people here seem to only interact with content about sex or politics. Replies are otherwise nonexistent unless you have a huge base of followers (just from probability, I guess.) I feel sorry for the people who are trying to use this site for anything else and see no one cares.

The amount of virtue signaling some people do is getting absurd. Telling a crowd of artists "I think AI art is bad" is just preaching to the choir, and... duh?? What is the point besides just trying to get an easy pat on the back? "War is bad", "Tolerance is good", ... I can do it, too!

It saddens me knowing that someone can make ONE bad decision, and yet even after they have rectified it and redeemed themself, people will hold that over their head FOREVER. People judge others as if they are free of flaws and have never made mistakes themselves... We are only human.

If I had music skills, I would write songs, but I don't, so... I just stick with amateur poetry instead. Is that weird? I always feel like it would be seen as cringe, but I feel an urge to express myself and in a way that visual medium just can't. I can always continue to just keep it to myself lol

At what point should someone stop chasing their dreams and just settle for the dreary reality? What about when those dreams require stepping all over someone else’s? How far should someone go to get what they desire? Is it better to sacrifice one’s own happiness to ensure another’s?

Love brings out both the best and the worst in people. I don’t know how normal people handle experiencing that kind of emotion on a regular basis. Sometimes I wish I was incapable of feeling at all. Having emotions is exhausting. imo Tennyson was wrong. I don’t think it is worth the pain.

Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but if someone doesn't like a piece of media, and others push away the criticism because "Well, you're not a REAL fan, so you just don't get it!" because it relies heavily on references for its content, then said product is just not good.

I envy people with very simple romantic/sexual orientations. I like that I can define my complex situation, but others see it as me trying to be “special”, but if I try to simplify it, it isn’t accurate and people make false assumptions about me. It’s a lose-lose-lose situation for me.

Refreshing the page more often does not in fact make someone reply any quicker. Doesn’t mean I won’t still do it while mentally shouting “Reply!” each time.
