I just met with Prairie Farm School District leaders about the challenges facing our public schools. Voters shouldn’t have to increase their own property taxes just to keep their school doors open. As governor, I’ll fully fund our public schools so that every child can have a world-class education.

Happy International Women’s Day! Wisconsin is home to so many strong, powerful trailblazers. I can’t help but honor one in particular, my mentor Vel Phillips. As a woman of many firsts, she paved the way for me and countless others.

This morning, we wrapped our statewide Reject the Washington Way tour at Sherman Park Grocery, a small business pushed to the brink of closure by Trump's tariffs and cuts to SNAP. Trump spent last night on a victory lap. We spent the week with people paying the price. Wisconsin deserves better.

Last month, I met a farmer in Cadott who was covered under the ACA. After Tom Tiffany let tax credits expire, his premium went from $274 to over $1600/month. He ripped up the bill, threw it away, and said he will go without health insurance. This is the real impact of MAGA healthcare policies.
