Reigen's body that's in the real world is completely comatose and unresponsive at this point, but not dead. Serizawa goes back multiple times in hopes Reigen will be there, or if anything of Reigen's has moved, but it's all the same. None of the kids can find him either. He's just gone

I have an evil thought involving the Onsen OVA. What if when Reigen jumped out of the train in a desperate attempt to escape, he wasn't teleported back. Serizawa returns to check on him and he's just... gone. No one knows where he is, and all they're left with is his makeshift will that he wrote
