Blood and Wild Places is in final edit. It is the last novella before the prequel to Chosen of The Dark Realm, and it leads directly into the prequel, as does The Forge.

UK family vacation is over, landed back in Perth tonight. I had high hopes of flight-time writing, but it didn't work. A few hundred words, some editing, but not a lot. It works when it's just me, but otherwise I am too conscious of everyone else and cant lose myself. Interesting insight.

My 8 yr old daughter had a sore throat, and with everything she hears, she got scared about illness and said: "if I die will we all be together? Will I see you like I do now?" I cried. Hug your people. It is all that matters.

Just sent copies of Chosen to four people very dear to me. My three closest friends I grew up with as a teenager, with whom I had so many adventures; and my developmental editor that took the ramblings of a would-be writer and helped craft them into a book and me into an author. Great day.

Dilema. I have feedback that my latest novella should be developed into a novel. BUT, the story involves the background of a major character & feeds into the next book in my series. Should I publish as novella, develop it and delay next book; or publish as novella & later republish it as a novel?
