Graham Platner’s sexting issue is like Hillary’s emails-a distraction. Don’t play into it. Is it shitty? Yes. But our country is in the midst of a constitutional crisis. Our opponents are white Christian nationalists attempting an authoritarian takeover. Wake up and get your head in the game.

The heart of our constitutional crisis in one exchange between me and Sec. Mullin. When asked a simple question - if he will obey court orders - he says he will not because some court orders are "politicized". That's not how democracy works. And that's why we are in a crisis.

Trump is acting like he’s a hero for actually following the court’s order in the slush fund decision. Thanks for following the law like you are required and expected to. Shows you how outside the law he views himself. We should give him a big participation trophy so maybe he’ll do it again.

He’s hiding something in his taxes. That’s what this says to me. Someone is trying avoid accountability by giving himself a free pass. Who has standing to start s lawsuit to stop this questionably legal move? This is self-dealing in its most literal form. It’s a lie and a coverup.

Trump is attempting to rewrite the Constitutional order to circumvent Congress’ legislative powers. Executive orders are not laws. He is attempting to create a parallel system for creating laws which will replace Congress as he pushes them aside. This is straight out of the Authoritarian Handbook.

The corruption and cruelty is staggering in its degree and frequency. It’s really sad to see we gave up the relative security of the Biden Administration for this fascist clown show. Think about how much calmer and more people centered his government was. It was far from perfect, but better.

If you don’t like what you’re seeing at Delaney Hall, pay attention to what’s happening in Congress this week.   We must stop giving ICE and for-profit companies like GEO Group a blank check to create chaos.
