I don’t even know how to handle this… the drummer for the Pillows, Shinichiro Satou, has passed away. F*ck cancer. Been listening to them since I could use the internet and never got to see them live but they’re my everything. Thought I was heartbroken over them disbanding, but this? I can’t.

I finally finished Displacement by Kiku Hughes and I recommend giving it a read! It’s a great comic with a lot of heart and research put into it, and it remains extremely relevant especially today in authoritarian America.

Reopened Artfol and I wish Bluesky had some of its features. Having a dedicated commissions page for illustrators would be so rad, and even the ability to recolor your page is a novelty. Just- more customization overall would be cool.

I’m so mad, not only is doing the lineart for fan art of someone else’s OC faster, but I’m also having more fun doing it too?? Huh??? For context it’s been taking me ages to finish a character sheet before Art Fight is over so I’m doing an attack and it’s gone by WAY faster. I don’t get it.

I need the licensing issues for Jeff William’s music to resolve man. Was listening to the instrumental stuff he wrote for RWBY and while he’s recognized as an amazing vocalist + guitarist I don’t think he’s given nearly enough credit for being a talented pianist as well.
