Played my first game of the year with the kiddos. Prowler vs Kalamax vs Clavileno vs Skithiryx SUCH an awesome, close game. The MVP was definitely Wonder for Prowler. Would not have won without the flying. But every deck did its thing. Super fun, can’t wait to play another 💜

4 games that defined my 2025 I struggled for the fourth but I have had binges of TFT.

Spending the holiday with my fuzzy sister!

2025 was not a great year for my content. But I learned how to cook, went to one of my key military schools and started my workout journey, getting my weight and other issues more under control. Not everything is all or nothing. Sometimes you don’t hit every mark you plan for. And that’s okay.

Happy holidays friends. I’m hoping for way more content in 2026, but the rest of this year is for family time. I hope y’all stay safe, happy and healthy 💜

What a way to cap the year in my workout journey. Hit 50 lbs. DBs on flat bench after previously struggling with over 40 lbs. Maxed out the leg press machine at 400 lbs.! 💪 🦵 Tell me what you accomplished this year so I can hype you up, friend! 💜

2026 is definitely gonna be the "1k Universes Beyond Commanders" year.

Recorded a couple of games yesterday, played an update Iroh, Grand Lotus and Mai, Jaded Edge. Really enjoyed how both felt but definitely noticed some similarities, with Mai leaning more into Guttersnipe effects than originally planned. Only made it 20 minutes before playing though! So not bad.

Heh, had to repost this right quick. Whoops. Gym was good, solid reps and consistent weight but still feeling down. Might be the holidays.

That's cool. I just knocked a soda over onto $100+ worth of Magic cards. Fuck.

I was at my LGS earlier to get a gift for my middle kid (it’s his birthday, he’s 13!) and one of the workers was talking about stock of recent sets. When they mentioned they had tons of Spider-Man, the customer scoffed and said “Yeah. It can stay right there!” Yeesh. Is it that bad?

She’s in my A-tier for “looks cool, might build” and may very well bump up to S-tier (“IM BUILDING THIS!!!”), along with Red Mai.

This is a kick ass card for Wizards.

Honestly, I was 8 yo, my older sister got into it with some cards and I fell in love. I taught some kids in my school, even into high school. I called it quits when people stole decks out of my backpack. That was either 2005 or 2006. Then I got back into the game with RtR.

... I think this is Cena's first IC title? I get wanting to send him out on top but sending someone out with a title win that really won't amount to anything isn't good for anyone. Cena doesn't need it to make his career; the IC title doesn't gain prestige and why use Dom as fodder?

Strixhaven had the potential to be it's own theme for a game. I mean, we love magic schools as a theme and making it more "adult" definitely appeals. I almost wonder if there's room for a block where every color combination has a "school" in a multiversal school/college.
