One of the funny things about remakes or recurring NPCs/areas for the Trails series is when a character with a generic NPC sprite becomes the standard for said design with future models. Examples include Anton, Orvid, and Ryu. Though maybe I’m mistaken and one/some of them did have a unique sprite.

Day 15 of Trails Over 30 Days My favorite boss fight is easily the final boss of Trails through Daybreak II. A fantastic use of mechanics and a plethora of fun phases that make use of a variety of party members. I only wish there could be even more to it!

Day 14 of Trails Over 30 Days It’s hard to definitively recall what moment made me laugh the hardest, but at the least there’s plenty of great humor between Agnès, Feri, and Aaron. Judith’s girlfailure moments are also a blessing. So I’ll just go with ASO moments in general for now!

#TrailsBeyondtheHorizon was such a roller coaster for me as a Kevin fan! To start, I was obviously hyped to see him return! And then, I was super intrigued at seeing him work with several of my other favorite characters as “bad guys”. But then, I was starting to get really disappointed in him

Day 13 of Trails Over 30 Days Missed a day! My favorite weapons in the Trails series are Lloyd’s tonfas. They’re a pretty unique choice, especially for the main character! Otherwise, I also like the mechanics of Swin’s dual blades and the history of the Albarea family swords Ishnard and Elvers.

Gaming Report #80 I didn’t have a lot of time for gaming yesterday and wasn’t feeling the best, so I just played a little Beyond the Horizon NG+ and mostly watched SarahKey play Zero instead.

This is a neat mug but I feel like the design would go harder without two Instructor Rean outfits. Either the default Horizon outfit or the black jacket instead, though I do think it’d look odd to have the one white haired one in there and the jacket doesn’t go as well with his normal hair…
