Back at it again! This is the face of a very cold Char, all bundled up and waiting to do figures at today’s skating contest. This is roller, not ice- I’m praying for some heat, haha!

I had fun running the Samba Royale last night at Artistic Skating practice. It still has a long way to go and is such a tricky dance, but I’m so thankful for fanciful friends like Becca being there and willing to record my shenanigans. 🧡

Here we go again, it’s another artistic roller skating contest day! I’m completely in my feelings, but at least I have a new dress for Dance! I will wear this for Bronze solo dance, which starts in about an hour, according to the schedule.

I’m waiting outside the rink for it to open for practice (this coach is always late), so I’m prone to thinking. This morning, I’m thinking a lot about how nice it is that you can pet a BENGAL CAT in Metaphor Re Fantazio. Good stuff.

Never doubt my commitment to Sparkle Motion. I managed to get a lesson with a coach I admire this morning. It’s in Sacramento, so that means a long, early morning drive. Let’s gooo!

I’m going to attempt to do something I’d do from time to time on the dead bird app; make a little chronicle of an Artistic Roller Skating competition. Today is the first contest of the Cal-Neva league season, taking place in Chico, CA. It’s early and I’m officially out the door heading to the rink!

Why not, guess I should add some Artistic Roller Skating dance content here, too! This is me practicing one of my new dances last night, Samba Royale. “Heartbeat Heartbreak” from Persona 4 fits the tempo and vibe, so why not? It is hard and has a long way to go. It’s fun, though! #Rollerskating

I’ve really missed the feeling of old Bird App™️ and, if you will allow me to be vulnerable, it’s made me lonelier than I had realized. Seeing friends remember me and show up over here has made me smile. Thank you for that. I’m gonna do my best to slowly ramp up the glitter. ✨🧡✨
