A small sailboat that didn't make it in the storm. Not much attention, just a thought. Zelda Familia at least got a funeral and a spot with a view at the Monumental Cemetery of Bonaria. Life comes and goes...

It hasn't rained this much in 30 years here in Sardinia, they say. I say I haven't seen more than a few drops of rain , only one hailstorm the last two years. For me, the rain feels good . For the island, it is gold. The grey and blue look like silver.

A ship enter the dock at the gas station before the storm arrives. This winter is the most windy I have ever experienced. Sardinia is exposed the storms from the Atlantic, the Mistral from the Alps and Scirocco from Africa. You need to be in a well protected to be safe. Luckily I am.

The Sea turtle. It was the most peaceful and calm animal I ever met. This one passed by Pinoseed in the middle of the Mediterranean days from any land . We looked at each other. It was a very special moment. We met in peace

A few minutes before the rain started. I got soaked in the heavy rainfall, and I enjoyed it. Very refreshing to get wet and cold sometimes. I welcome it. And I love the dramatic clouds. It's not just grey, and once in a while, you get shown the light. The Sun is never far away

Before a new storm arrived in the island last night I got plenty of things to do inside and doing art is one of the most joyful activities

Calm has settled over the city now. Everyone is breathing a sigh of relief and cleaning up the streets, and in the marina, things that have broken are being repaired.

This cormorant balance the mooring line Living here in Marina del Sole in the port of Cagliari among with his family and other birds. The seagulls, crowes , moor-hens and kingfishers. Here is food for everyone in the area. They get along very well. With the humans too.

I think I figured it all out These flock of birds wake up at 7.30. So if I wake up at 6.30 , I got time to walk in to town and have a takeaway double macchiato at 7.00 Then walk the stairs up to this spot and drink my double macchiato and watch the flock of birds passing by at the same time.

It is not easy for me to ask for help. I am used to be the one helping others. Some jobs I had in my life is, teacher, fireman, caretaker of handicapped people. And working with youngsters with special needs. This is how I was raised. And that is how I want to continue living my life. ⬇️

I am not really fishing in this port, but not only the seagulls came when I throw some left overs in the water I could not resist, so I put bread on a hook and did anyway. A calm and entertaining evening here in the marina del sol . No drama . The fish took the bait, and the hook too.

I found a new cheese the last days of 2025. I ate the rest of it for breakfast this new year 2026. I love it But that is not my point here. It’s the philosophy, to keep what is working for you. I just wanted to say this now, when I see many people talk about what to give up.

A white heron enjoying the warm rays of the Sun today. The prediction for next week is mostly cloudy and rain. I have spent more than two years now in the Mediterranean and I find it kind of nice with clouds and rain. The island needs it too.
