First day of #Lexember !! Might jump around a few of my conlangs this year, but I'm starting off with Orn Rood familial terms that I don't have already!

Although I wasn’t able to complete all the prompts I still had a lot of fun! Thank you for the opportunity to talk about my conlang!!

#ConlangNovember 28: The Ullalk word for 'say' has two etymologies, two forms. /an.los/, used for pst, pres, and fut and /lo/ for the verbal noun and /lo.ən/ the pst participle.

#ConlangNovember 25: There are two types of Ullalk taboos I've created words for, general profanities regarding sex or bodily functions and religious profanities. Among the weirder ones are Elchams /élx.əms/ 'fondle' (hold + frequentative) and Niis /níɪs/ literally 'to insert' (1/4)

#ConlangNovember 24: I have a single idiom in Ullalk, /mo mult a nu fúlpɛrɪn/ (they are) a wolf in a library. to be a very stubborn person.

#ConlangNovember 19: Ullalk's departure from Alun was mostly grammatical, though fueled by the loss of cases due to sound changes. Because Ullalk was a minority language for centuries, it took on much of the vocabulary of Esgrii such as the previously mentioned 'taf' "bird" and 'jak' "to fit".

#ConlangNovember 18: I haven't done anything regarding registers for Alun languages, including Ullalk. The closest thing is a 'polite' form of 2nd person pronouns that existed in Alun that no longer exist in Ullalk.

My internet has been doing this cool thing recently where it stops working for up to 5 hours at a time.
