Our Organizer Erin said it best! We need a dedicated Childcare State fund! Georgia has a $20 billion surplus. We would only need millions to keep providers' doors open while helping childcare stay affordable and accessible. Long-term investments help all working Georgians as a long-term solution.

In addition to the lack of accessibility and affordability, this crisis disproportionately impacts working-class Black, Latino, and Indigenous families who are more likely to work in jobs with low wages and limited flexibility.
