This is a very common type of game on DLsite and in fact works ten times better as a proper RPGmaker game

Finished mahoyo! Still got the extra chapter to do but my thoughts on it are: For the most part its good! The action scenes are very cool and I like a lot of the SOL stuff - a lot of the side stories are really good character bits (the shady job one is definitely the best one)

Finished Ikoku Nikki, which was the surprise of the season for me. A surprisingly grounded, touching show on processing emotions and growing up. Highly recommended (apparently it covered only 3/4 of the manga, so I might hop on to read the rest)

Rather than what people consider a personally good ending: Has there been a big manga ending in recent memory that the "fan community" at large was fine with?

I personally found chainsawman part 2 messy once they introduced the CSM cult and ended up not enjoying the enjoying the ending. I think fujimoto is very good at writing emotional, personal stories and kinda hope he sticks to something like that in his next work, whatever it is.

Started Mahoyo. Will be tagging my posts with #Mahoyo for those who wish to avoid spoilers Anyway, I love direction so far. Still very early in but the way they layer the backgrounds and sprites makes the cutscenes feel a lot more animated and expressive.
