Warlock main here. Not gonna sugar coat it: today's Destiny 2 news sucks. A lot. But it will not diminish the great times I had, the great people I met along the way (Nerd Nation rocks, btw) and the highs and lows of emotions that it gave me. Now we begin the Destiny 3 watch!

Most people do the usual Easter dinner of ham and other stuff. This year we said nah we don't feel like it and ended up with this. Made another BBQ chicken pizza, but paired it with home made bread sticks this time. I don't think there will be leftovers this time around...

Day four of bedrest: Not exactly bedrest but working at home. Took another Covid test, and it came up positive. Fuck. Guess we're just navigating the back end of it now. This fucking sucks 😒

Day 3 of bedrest: Aches are gone. So is the coughing. Mostly. Now it's a matter of getting my throat back in order and, in turn, getting my voice back fully. Looks like we're on the tail end finally.

Day two of bedrest. Throat still feels like trash, still achy all over, still hurts to cough. Thankfully, it's not strep throat. Give me your remedies for a hurting throat. I've got lemon ginger tea that I can add honey to. I'd like for all this to go away now...

Good news: I went home from work early. Bad news: it was because I felt like absolute dog shit. Good news: Turns out it wasn't the flu or Covid. Still achy all over and just terrible headache. So how to pass the time til I Inevitably passed out? Find old episodes of The Price is Right. Memories.

For your consideration 🫴: Korean style pot roast with brown rice and veggies. Found this recipe and figured why the hell not. Came out pretty well. Slow cooker did its job. Veggies were tossed in sesame oil, ginger powder, Chinese five spice, and soy sauce. All in all, I like it.

I have a pot roast going in the slow cooker, and I found a 6+ hour playlist of the entire Dance Dance Revolution Extreme soundtrack. I'd say it's a good Saturday.

Remember when I said I was gonna get back into rhythm games. I wasn't kidding. Came across this relic (that still works, btw) in the tavern closet, and the memories came flooding back. Can't wait to get back into it.

For your consideration 🫴: Bacon cheddar gnocchi soup. Found this recipe while flipping through Pinterest last night, so figured we'd give it a go. Didn't have spinach as an ingredient, so threw it in there. Came out good and creamy. Will definitely do it again.

Just watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem with the wife. We now need a marathon of the original three movies and TMNT. And we need to make pizza to tie it all together. It's the only way.

It's cold and wet outside. So what did we decide to do for a day such as today? Popped open The Lord of The Rings. Extended edition, of course. Definitely the correct choice for a day like today.

Haven't broken open 47 Ronin, so we figured tonight was the night since we never watched it. Got some popcorn and hot chocolate to enjoy the movie. And while watching, we realized the emperor was played by Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa. Almost cried. Another piece of my childhood gone. Rest well, Shang.
