By: Chris Nosek On Saturday, December 6th, the American Hockey League saw the Bridgeport Islanders host the Hartford Wolf Pack. The two teams are battling for 6th place in the Atlantic Division and are separated by only two standings points. This match up had two young goaltenders. the fact that Providence has as many shots on goal as the Checkers have goals scored is awful. there’s no offensive push from the team and their season is on the line. They HAVE to find a way to get motivated.

2024-25 Stanley Cup Playoff Review: Round 2, Game 3
By: Chris Nosek Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Florida Panthers Clearly the Panthers didn't start the game the way they wanted to needed to. They did, however, settle down and find their game to fight there way back. Even though the Maple Leafs were up 2-0 in the series the idea of a sweep was far-fetched and once Florida tied this one up we knew their biggest push was coming.

By: Chris Nosek Florida Panthers vs. Toronto Maple Leafs The Maple Leafs are starting to pass the tests to determine whether or not they are the same team we've seen in years past. There is a clear difference in their overall game and attitude and it's showing on the ice. Joseph Woll was great in the absence of Anthony Stolarz and will continue to settle in the crease the more he plays.

By: Chris Nosek Round 2 of the playoffs is underway! Let's see how they all started. Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Florida Panthers Wow, what a game! I did not expect the Maple Leafs to come out as strong as they did. If one game were going to change your opinion on an entire series, this might be the game to accomplish that.

Reviewing the Head Coach Market
By: Chris Nosek The New York Rangers hired arguably the best coaching candidate on the market and made sure no one else would sign Mike Sullivan. So who else could teams be looking at for their open head coaching position? Dan Bylsma Bylsma has been a head coach before and helped lead the 2008-09 Pittsburg Penguins to the Stanley Cup. He's been a head coach in the AHL and NHL with numerous stops along the way.

2024-25 NHL Playoff Preview: Round 2
By: Chris Nosek Round one of the Stanley Cup playoffs is officially in the books. Let's take a look at the second round! Florida Panthers vs. Toronto Maple Leafs As much as some of us want to believe this Toronto team is different, no one will believe it until they see it. Their test wasn't getting past the Ottawa Senators. That was the bare minimum.

2024-25 Stanley Cup Playoffs Review: Round 1, Game 7
By: Chris Nosek Colorado Avalanche vs. Dallas Stars The fact that this was a first round matchup is the worst part about this game because it was everything we could have wanted in a Game 7. Pete DeBoer remains unbeaten in Game 7s while Colorado continues to struggle in them. The bounces seemed to be going Colorado's way early when a Josh Manson shot snuck through the pads of Jake Oettinger.

2024-25 Stanley Cup Playoffs Review: Round 1, Game 6
By: Chris Nosek Maple Leafs vs. Senators Many continued to believe that the Maple Leafs would squander away yet another multi-game lead in a series and fail again in a win-or-go-home game. They jumped to the early lead and Ottawa was able to tie it up which only added to the pressure. It was Max Pacioretty who scored the go-ahead goal which helped send a wave of relief over the bench.

Snubbed For Hart?
By: Chris Nosek Yesterday it was released that Leon Draisaitl, Connor Hellebuyck, and Nikita Kucherov are the top three finalists for this seasons Hart Trophy. This, as expected, has caused numerous discussions about who may or may not have been snubbed in the voting process. Blue Jackets fans bring up Zach Werenski, Quinn Hughes gets a lot of credit for helping carry the Canucks all season, and of course - Bruins fans bring up David Pastrnak.

2024-25 Stanley Cup Playoffs Review: Round 1, Game 5
By: Chris Nosek Colorado Avalanche vs. Dallas Stars The Stars came out flying as the Stars took the lead just 9 seconds into the game. The Stars managed to get Mackenzie Blackwood pulled for the third period after getting 5 goals past him. As much as some may want to dismiss the Avalanche for game 6, we have to remember that it was Colorado who started off the series with a strong game one victory in Dallas.

2024-25 Stanley Cup Playoff Review: Round 1, Game 4
By: Chris Nosek Golden Knights vs. Wild Coming into the series, we had a lot of questions about the health of the Minnesota Wild. They have answered all of those questions over the first three games. There were able to get the split in the first two games on the road and now they'll look to split the first two home games.
