We're preparing for Brawl in the Bluegrass locally & after extensive playtesting of classic lists we have switched to some alpha strike practice. Lost this game but another turn & I would have tabled my opponent. All of his units were living on nothing but hopes & dreams at this point #battletech

I was really hoping I could figure out some way to save these but I eventually decided to hit the eject button and just strip them so I can start over. Pulled extra minis to paint up to save time. Will fill in the stock pile with stripped minis. Still wish I could figure out what caused this

Having a weird issue doing an oil wash. The gloss coat I laid down first is crackling but not really peeling. Ive never encountered this before & didnt change anything about my approach. Clear gloss coat had a day to cure. Anyone encountered this before? Or have an idea what might of caused it?

Weekend game pics. I won the first 2 tracks on the new mercs contract for our Hinterlands campaign. I love full vehicle rules but Im quickly becoming a huge fan of the BSP rules for vehicles and infantry. They work really well and fit in fairly seemless while making mechs feel like kings #battletech

My homebrew Merc forces part 1 #battletech

I came in 15th overall all which Im happy with. Its my highest ranking at a Southern Assault so far. My group was brain storming the entire way home & I think we have some great ideas both individually & as a group for next year. This is the display diaroma I made and the force I used #battletech

I won my last game but took no pictures because it was against a child and it feels weird cataloging the absolute beating my list gave to his. So I won 3 & lost 3 overall. My 3 wins were blow outs but only one of my losses was. Overall pretty happy. Southern Assault was great this year #battletech

No pictures for game 5 because I was too busy smashing my opponent's teeth in before forcing him to eat granola. Im all over the place in this tournament but I can't complain. Its been super fun #battletech

#battletech Playtest this evening. Im not sure the ability to focus fire on a side torso more effectively under the proposed rules changes is that big a deal on initial impressions to this one game. Definitely reserving my final opinion on it up until I get more games but initial impressions are 🤷‍♀️
