1 in 4 Hispanic children live with their parent(s) and at least one adult other than their parent(s). This includes 14% of Hispanic children who live with a parent and a grandparent.

Highlighting Center Scholars: Dr. Puente is an assistant professor of higher education in the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education at UC Santa Barbara. Her work is focused on issues of college access, choice, transition, retention, and success for rural Latino students.

Highlighting Center Scholars: Dr. Kristina Lovato is a 2023 grantee and Assistant Professor at @UCBerkeley. Her research centers the lived experiences of immigrant communities to inform policies, systems, and services that are culturally responsive. #HispanicHeritageMonth
