DOOM (2016) - Unused Cryo Pod Containment Unit : During development (2015) I got to explore the idea the Slayer was in a cryo stasis unit which fell to Mar's surface after a space ship/station was attacked. Nice experiment though I'm happy were we 'landed' 🤣 www.artstation.com/artwork/Ov6ALK

Hope everyone's having a good weekend! Did a photo study today of a picture I took during the summer outside of our office. Love the skies here. When you find yourself with downtime, remember to keep practicing! Also trying out an XPPen drawing tablet, pretty good!

Before touching 3D or photoshop for this task, I did a series of pen-only drawings (no erasing!) for the Super Shotgun in DOOM: The Dark Ages! I knew it would need to be lever action + we wanted a flint-lock weapon so it was a lot of creative problem-solving early on. Grey tone added later.
