I'll continue the thread in a day or two when I have additional test results. We've got a lot of snow, so it should be easy to get similar shots on Delta 3200.

On the other hand, the contrast in the 400TX shot is a little extreme. Shadow detail is minimal. I challenged with an extreme scene; I metered with an incident meter and (as expected) snow still has some details and midtones are OK; but deep shadows are blocked up. This might not be a problem […]
