By signing the Coerced Debt Bill into law, Gov. Hochul can ensure that coerced debts are repaid by the RIGHT person: abusers who accrued them as way of controlling their victims. NY has the opportunity to protect survivors, but that window is closing — @governor.ny.gov needs to act now!
