The only policy I liked of Trump was his aspiration to keep the US out of foreign wars. For Christmas, the US attacked Northern Nigeria and for New Year’s, Venezuela. I guess Donny has contented himself with the FIFA Peace Prize. The Venezuelans are right: it is old fashioned colonialism.

Trump-class warships will never work. First of all, no class. Main problem though is that enemy sonar will be able to detect them by their constant bubble signature.

The governments and people of West Africa would do well not to give the US any excuse for military adventures in the region. The Sahel has been destabilised but countries like Nigeria and Ghana, while having some issues, haven’t spilt into widespread sectarian war. Keep it that way.
