18/3/25 my ballet teacher changed something for our assessment and i’m scared i won’t remember it 😔 my ‘filming’ lesson went well, i accidentally procrastinated for the whole lecture instead of working but jazz went rly well!! i got a lot done again then went to history society!!

17/3/25 most productive day ever! i got sm done!! unfortunately it wasn’t a lot of mt stuff but that can be done tomorrow, 2 weeks till my assessments, i’ve got this 💪(😰)

10/3/25 had a headache all day 😔 got home and had to lay down for two hours to get rid of it, i’ve never had a headache like it!! anyway all was well bc once it was gone i had a delicious chickpea curry and watched heretic with my friend! it was SO GOOD i LOVED it!!!

my irrational fear is performing comedy i wrote myself. pre-scripted comedy? fine. but my own material? I AM SO TERRIFIED HOW DO PPL DO THIS?!?? i will just break down and cry i’m sure of it

6/3/25 i was on time to routines! (a miracle). i went to a song + dance rehearsal then realised i wasn’t in the part of the dance we were rehearsing so i just sat out till everyone started hoola hooping (yippee so fun!) then i sang losing my mind from follies for vocal rep which i got good (1)

5/3/25 forget everything else, i had the most perfect singing lesson ever and rewarded myself with a small box of chips from the chippy across the road. fantastic day.

3/2/25 we started our acting script today! it’s very heavy which will be a nice change, our acting has been mostly comedic since i started here. show rehearsal went well but vocal ensemble was trickyyyy. then i made a tlog voiceover on my tt! (go watch it 😜)

24/2/25 acting lesson BOSH rehearsal for my number BOSH show rehearsal lesson BOSH vocal ensemble BOSH, now i’ve just got to film a self tape for tomorrow and i’m done for the night, come on sophie 🙏🙏

18/2/25 did a rehearsal for my routines dance and another for my ensembles assessment today! when i got home i had a nap bc i didn’t sleep well the night before and then i had my dinner and went to a history society social! i enjoyed a few ciders then got some good rest :)

14/2/25 i didn’t go to my first lesson bc my sleep issues were rly getting the better of me but i went to my vocal rep class and started looking for new repertoire afterwards then went to my comedy class and started writing a sketch which felt SO good, i haven’t written comedy for a few months (1)

13/2/25 bit late to my routines class today but as luck would have it they hadn’t learnt any new choreo and i could just pick up from where i left off the week before! my vocal rep lesson also went very well, my mix voice felt AWFUL but i controlled it and used its weakness to my advantage (1)

11/2/25 ooh my tap assessment is hard but i rly love it! we’re dancing to music from six and hadestown! my group got given when doves cry in our routines class, and in acting we did more meisner! i chose to play the archetype of the innocent in our activity which was super fun!

10/2/25 i told my teacher a little about stage/fright but he said he’s gonna look for return tickets ahaha so i didn’t spoil anything! my number for my next show is going so so well, my friend is helping me choreograph it and she came up with a whole minute of choreo on the spot today! (1)

guys how much of writing is focusing on having a good daily routine so u can put a concerted effort in for 2-3 hours a day and how much of it is staying awake till 3am wringing ur brain dry of any comprehensible sentences it vomits out? any insight is helpful, thanks 🥰

9/2/25 i’m still not over meeting r + s and i can’t wait to update my acting teacher on stage/fright tomorrow! i’ll wear the shirt i got to class, i’m still buzzing!! i feel as though i’ve just done a show myself and it’s 24 hours later! back at uni now, gotta collect myself for the week ahead ahaha

8/2/25 STAGE/FRIGHT WAS AMAZING MY GOD!!! it was everything i hoped it would be and more!! meeting reece + steve, although quick, was so lovely and i was so happy to get my programme signed by them! i’m getting my nails done with an in9 theme before i go back in a few weeks and i wanna say (1)

7/2/25 8am body conditioning is NOT for the weak, my legs felt like they were on the verge of disintegrating all day 😭😭 my vocal rep class got cancelled then my comedy class in the afternoon was SO quick paced, my god. i mean it was the first lesson back and i already felt behind, it sounds fun tho!

6/2/25 my group is dancing to a beejees mashup in my routines class!! the dance is so so fun! i had no idea what to sing in vocal rep later on so i did i don’t care much from cabaret, i love that song but i started feeling ill so it didn’t come out very well 😔 i just rested the rest of the evening!

5/2/25 my new tap teacher is so fun! today i auditioned when doves cry by prince and everywhere by fleetwood mac for my song + dance class, i can’t wait to find out which one my group gets next week! we started working on meisner in acting too, super fun day!

4/2/25 rly full on day at uni, i had ballet, filming, a lecture, and jazz. i was so tired by the end but that was probs bc i got 4 hours of sleep (whoops). i’m in middle set for all my dance lessons but i’m still waiting on my assessment results from last semester, PRAYING for just one 2:1 in dance

3/2/25 ah i had such a good first day back! i had acting, show rehearsal, and vocal ensemble classes today which was great bc it meant i didn’t have to wear a leotard for the entirety of my first day back! yay! i’m doing meisner in acting so i get to explore more serious stuff!! very happy

2/2/25 cleaned my entire room (not my en-suite) and booked activities for when i go to center parcs!!!

1/2/25 back to doing musical theatre things!!! i went to an acting through song workshop and sang ‘dear bill’ from operation mincemeat (which ppl loved) and ‘so in love’ from kiss me kate. it was sm fun to see my coursemates sing too! then i had a relaxing evening. i’m so interested in the fact (1)

31/1/25 back at uni permanently ready for semester 2 now 😔‼️ (idk whether to be happy or sad) but the countdown has officially begun! 1 week until i see stage/fright!!! i should be wayyy more consistent on my little daily diaries here too now, yippee!!

27/1/25 i got a hair cut so my fringe is finally back after a month 🙏🙏 then i went to go see ateez at the o2 with my sibling, i didn’t know any of their songs but i LOVED the choreo and set design! it was such a cool concert!

24/1/25 i slept thru the whole day bc i was up until 9am (awake for 24 hours) the day before, good god. i woke up at 6pm and i’ve been sat here doing nothing since. i had a curry for dinner. i feel so relaxed.

22/1/25 i was so tired today(?) i met with my friend i haven’t seen for MONTHS and then travelled back to my uni so i could work in the evening. i’m glad i earned money but i was absolutely knackered 😭😭

my assignment is due in 3 and a half hours. i have done all the research, i just need to put it into words. can i do it? we will find out. i’ve LOVED this assignment, why can’t that make my deadline any less stressful 😭😭

19/1/25 i promise i’ll properly get back on these when im back at uni 😭😭🙏 today tho i went to the strictly come dancing live tour with my nan!! it was soooo much fun and i got to see sarah hadland perform which was amazing!!!

16/1/25 i was so hungover lmfao 💀 oh well, i managed to get home and then i just had dinner and crashed. i feel better today but i have successfully caught my first cold of 2025 (yay.) i’ve organised a wingstop trip with my best mate tomorrow tho so i’ll be ok after that ahaha

15/01/25 am i the only person to have ever been drunk and listened to all of kathy and stella solve a murder in one sitting? i might have been! my assessment went so well this morning so i have celebrated with more than a few drinks. i’m going home tomorrow, i can’t wait for a little relaxation
