My studio mate and I are having a featured artist exhibit @gallery621, Season of Renewal, opening March 6-March 30, 2025. Our reception is Saturday, March 15th, 4-6pm. My work is a mixture of new oil paintings, encaustic and found object assemblage.

This found object assemblage box was especially fun to work on. “Reap What You Sew” consists of some of my old sewing tools, pattern paper, along with some spring seeds and gardening references. Cheers. You can see it, along with other new work in an upcoming featured artist exhibit Gallery 621

Enjoyed some sunny studio time yesterday thinking about Spring, and working on some large encaustic paintings, maybe for an upcoming exhibit at Gallery621.

Our constant companion, Toci, the 4 year old Ragdoll cat. She helps us keep our blood pressure down these days.

Today’s work, Currents, oil on 20”x24” canvas.

‘Wisdom’, encaustic, found objects box, for Sophia, our granddaughter. When she visited us from Maryland last summer, she picked these flowers for me, which I saved dried, while waiting for the right creative inspiration.
