How are we doing? Sometimes we feel more fragile,vulnerable. This orchid looked dead. It was dormant for years. I kept giving it love, nurturing it. Meanwhile, it conserved resources, protected itself, insulated itself against harshness on the outside until it could rebuild strength & bloom again.

The winds the last few weeks wrecked our big flagpole, but the farmstand still speaks to the farm as a safe zone.
