Day 10 #ResearchAdvent Methodology. For my research & design methods course we were tasked to only use visuals and speak on our designs. I’m a 1st year and currently interested in randomized experiments in educational policy research.

For the past 3 weeks my mom and siblings have been staying with my dad at the hospital. Soon school will start and both my brother and I work in education. It’s been a blessing to be stay by my dad’s side through his healing journey. Who knew he’d be glad for summers this way, I know I am.

I felt like I was part of this conversation. These are the kinds of things I talk about with friends and colleagues. Take a listen and stay for the last part; those questions made me laugh. Also, I’m for the sunrise, as I’m looking at it right now. Guess I’m in the minority on that one.

This was a good read, aligning with my interests and curiosities. I couldn’t help but be drawn to the data visuals, they sparked my “I wonder” thoughts. The phrase “one child in every classroom” especially stuck with me; I can see it so clearly.

Personally, I’d pick the math project, it sounds fun! But my students would love the athlete project, especially showcasing highlights or sharing funny teacher vs. student game clips for a good laugh.
