I attended the third annual summit on AAPI power, Ascent: A Celebration of Asian American Leadership in New York City. Thank you to Council Members Shekar Krishnan and Linda Lee for hosting such a meaningful gathering and bringing together AAPI leaders from across the city.

This Memorial Day, we are reminded what we stand for: a country where every person, regardless of sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, race, religion, national origin, or disability, has the right to pursue life, liberty, and happiness.

This past Sunday, I was honored to attend and speak at the 5th Asian American Pacific Islander Cultural Heritage Parade in New York City. Thank you to everyone who came together to celebrate AAPI pride in New York City.
