Whatever your view on assisted dying, the fact the approach voted through can fundamentally be changed in just two weeks- moving from a court to expert panel-does not calm concerns. If society wants to make a change, it should do so knowing that safeguards can -and will- be changed over time.

Top MCA tips as I travel home on the train: 1. Plan ahead, while you're able to make the decision. 2. Be clear what the decision is. 3. Don't think about a capacity assessment unless you've tried things to support the person to make the decision without success. Oh and it applies at the age of 16.
