I was struggling through an article which was outlining a scholars reading of a Philosopher (to see how it was received). I thought, this argument never seemed this hard to parse, open the original book and—as I correctly remembered—extremely lucid prose. The article author was just so turgid

Just counted & this was about 6 months of work & converted out of a 90+ page google document lol—I hope I was able to do Horkheimer’s polemics justice & bring out the understated acid of these pieces in translation! Please let me know what you think!
