Finished reading the second installment of World End Economica and this time it only took me 6.5x the average (native) read time vs the 7.3x for game 1. Progress! I think the sort of person who submits their reading times to howlongtobeat.com is probably heavily biased towards fast readers anyway.

I found out you can simply block one (1) URL to negate bsky's age-gating so I blocked in my router and all is well, at least for now. Works for the phone app as well. Very timely with the influx of artists today. (you do need to clear storage for the app but it's a small inconvenience).

Okay j-dramas are good, actually. Cue regret at not doing this 10 years ago. I've been watching a series called わたし、定時で帰ります and I've been enjoying it a lot. Almost halfway through. Now why would I choose this series in particular as my first j-drama, I hear you ask? Allow me to explain:

Finally paid off my grammar debt. A lot of these feel natural now instead of something to scrutinize so I'm feeling pretty good about that. Now for more listening practice. I've been watching vlogs lately and while they're helpful I feel like the monologue nature isn't very suitable for JLPT study.

Going through my Japan photos. Might post a bunch! I bought this purely for the Cultural Experience. It was 500 yen, tasted like water, and was filled to the yellow line. I had low expectations and it was worse than that. Would not recommend.

I lost 2kg in Japan, probably from walking 10 hours a day, and despite regular late-night konbini junk. Lost an addition 1kg in the ten days after just from being sick. Not exactly a good thing when you're muscle maxxing but I'll take it. Gym day tomorrow so I can assess the damage.
