Chill hot tub night last night after a walk to Wilton drive. Hopefully softball games tonight don't kick our butts too much

I'm off to Fort Lauderdale on Thursday for the yearly softballing down there, and it always slays me a bit that the trip coincides with pig week. Not by any means my self-identification, but I appreciate the sex positive enthusiasm of it regardless.

It's been a high mileage year for me, and mostly doesn't feel a ton different. I weigh about the same, I keep about the same pace, but occasionally I have a day like today where I just kinda casually run a 7:15 for my 3rd mile and it feels like maybe I'm building a little bit. 🙃

In questionable decisions of the day: going for a 3.5 mile run in a thunderstorm and particulate matter air quality warning. (Needed for mental health and avoidance of stir-crazy with a packed work + travel day tomorrow)

Thunderstorms this morning were extremely cozy/ambient and I have rarely been so glad for a WFH day and a quiet Friday meeting schedule ☺️😴

I was worried it would be chilly this weekend in MN but it's sooo gorgeous out. Got out for a little pre-tournament run yesterday and it felt great! Also, the magical speediness of running in a flat AF glacial plain is a fun change 😁
