Toguro's body almost instantly decays after he hits the ground. Yusuke is declared the winner of the Dark Tournament, but he can't bring himself to celebrate since the victory came at such a great cost. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Toguro eventually manages to nullify the spirit gun. He then walks over to Yusuke and thanks him for both pushing him passed his limit and proving his life philosophy wrong. His demonic body then shatters like a shell. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Yusuke unleashes a spirit gun with all of his power put into it, including some life energy. Toguro runs and grabs it and uses all of his strength to try and negate it. However, his body starts to break while holding it. Yusuke is now completely drained. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Yusuke tells Toguro that he is going to put every last bit of power into his next spirit gun, and invites him to use the power he bought with his soul to counter it. Toguro then powers up further, to what he calls "100% over 100%". #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Yusuke quickly follows up his punch with a powerful spirit gun. Yusuke's new allies are amazed at Yusuke's new power, since this is the first time that Toguro has shown any kind of true damage dealt to him. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Toguro scoffs at Yusuke, and says that he should kill another friend. Once Toguro turns around, Yusuke grabs his arm and tells Toguro that he did admire his power, but won't throw away his friends for it, and promises he will stop him. Yusuke then delivers a powerful punch. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Toguro punches Yusuke, but this time Yusuke is not hurt. Toguro laughs and tells Yusuke "Now is your moment! You must believe that power is everything!" Yusuke disagrees and tells Toguro that he could never abandon his humanity, and has only come so far because of his friends. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Kuwabara falls, begging Yusuke to finish the fight. Yusuke's aura surges to a level that now matches Toguro's, but it is different type of power than he has ever had. The energy radiating off of him is full of sorrow. Toguro is excited to finally fight someone who is his equal. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Yusuke tries to stop Toguro, but can do nothing against him. Kuwabara decides to not back down and conjures his sword, then runs to attack Toguro. However, Toguro is so fast that before Kuwabara can realize what is happening, Toguro stabs his fingers through his chest. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Genkai tells Toguro that the way to draw out Yusuke's full power is kill one of his friends. Toguro says he considered it as a last resort, but since Yusuke cannot properly control his power, he ultimately decides to do it. He picks Kuwabara as the person who will die. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Unfortunately for Yusuke, his surge of spiritual energy isn't enough to cause real damage and is swatted away by Toguro. Yusuke's friends talk amongst themselves about how dire the situation is. Suddenly, Genkai possesses Pu so she can communicate with Toguro. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Toguro sets his sights on Yusuke's friends, and sends of wave of wind that crashes near them, telling Yusuke that he might not intentionally miss them next time. Yusuke is enraged and gains a surge of spiritual energy, and punches Toguro in the face. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Toguro begins beating up Yusuke. In desperation for their lives, the audience suddenly start cheering for Yusuke to win. Keiko goes into shock from seeing her childhood friend getting beaten so horrendously. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Many audience members decide to attack Toguro, realizing it is kill or be killed. However, all it takes is a couple of flicks from Toguro to completely decimate them. Yusuke then furiously rushes to attack Toguro, but even with a clean hit, his punch does no damage. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Toguro tells Yusuke that he will consume every last soul in the audience within 20 minutes. Even some of the formidable tournament fighters are feeling the strain of the soul suction. Sakyo then operates a device which traps everyone in the arena. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Toguro demands Yusuke to fight using all of his untapped power to give him a good fight. Koenma exclaims Toguro is running on instinct. Toguro retorts by saying that this is his will and that instinct is about survival. He then starts feeding on the souls of the deceased audience. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Toguro tells Yusuke "I don't think you realize how much danger you are truly in", and hits Yusuke with a devastatingly powerful punch which sends him flying, and has him coughing a lot of blood. Yusuke will need to find a way access more power if he has any hope of winning. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Toguro retaliates by punching Yusuke in the arm, which shatters his bones. Yusuke then fires his most powerful spirit gun yet, but Toguro makes it fizzle out with a simple kiai. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Toguro raises his hand and flicks his thumb. The pocket of air created from the flick is powerful enough to hurt Yusuke. Yusuke then rushes over to attack Toguro and infuses a large amount of spirit energy into his punch, but Toguro is able to block it with his thumb. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Toguro starts to undergo a frightening transformation. His body convulses and reconstructs into his true demonic form. His aura is so violent that a quarter of the audience are vaporized. Yusuke can't move, out of numbness and curiosity, and lets Toguro fully power up. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

In the middle of Yusuke's barrage of punches, Toguro gives Yusuke a cold stare, which scares him into falling back. Yusuke says he senses danger in Toguro's eyes. Toguro then stands up, looking deflated. He tells Yusuke that he is the adversary he has been waiting for. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Yusuke hits Toguro with a powerful body shot, and proceeds to then hit him with a flurry of punches, giving him no opportunity to fight back. Yusuke's allies are confident that he will win the match, now that the tables have turned. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Toguro braces himself to fight Yusuke. However Yusuke is so fast that Toguro only realizes Yusuke is directly in front of him right before he is hit with a powerful uppercut, which knocks him flat. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Yusuke reveals that he has been wearing spirit shackles, a part of his training regimen under Genkai. The shackles initially required Yusuke to use all his energy just to move, but he is now able to fight while wearing them. Once removed, Yusuke's aura shoots up drastically. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Yusuke makes a direct hit with his spirit gun, which launches Toguro far outside of the arena. Kuwabara yells to the referee to start the count, but since there is no tournament ring, the match can only be resolved by the complete defeat of one opponent. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Yusuke punches Toguro, trying to get him to let down his guard so he can make a direct shot. Toguro punches the ground below with such power that it completely destroys the tournament ring. As Toguro he jumps up, Yusuke finds an opening to fire his spirit gun. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Toguro swings his arm with such force that it creates a pocket of air that acts like a blast of energy, but Yusuke narrowly dodges the attack. Toguro then tells Yusuke to stop messing around. In response, Yusuke starts charging up a spirit gun. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Yusuke rushes to attack Toguro. Both punch each other at the same time. Toguro then swings at him, but Yusuke kicks him in the face as a way of dodging the strike. However, the moment it takes for Yusuke to land leaves him open for an attack. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Yusuke vs. Toguro begins! Toguro decides to power up to 80% off the bat. The aura radiating off Toguro is so intense that it starts melting away the weakest audience members. Shields have to be put up to protect Yusuke's allies from being killed. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

The English dub changes Sakyo's backstory quite a bit. English dub Sakyo is more conceited and treats his depravity as him being a genius and one step ahead of everyone else. In the Japanese dub and manga, he has the self awareness to acknowledge that he is screwed up. #yuyuhakusho #yyh

Elder Toguro's voice actors are Katsumi Suzuki (Japanese) and Bill Townsley (English). Suzuki's most known role is Diddy Kong in many Mario and Donkey Kong video games (since 2004). Townsley voiced many Dragon Ball characters until 2011, but he still voices Cui to this day. #yuyuhakusho #yyh
