Sega games being delisted is always depressing to me. I don't have a Genesis or Dreamcast anymore so that was already rough when they delisted them last year but now the original Yakuza 0? Keep your games somehow everybody. Comps won't keep them around forever.

I like the way Random is portrayed in Kirby Air Riders. Just this dark shroud with a question mark. Online in the demo was alright and in the full game. Honestly, glad to see it's good because the online in Smash Ultimate and since Brawl brought down otherwise fun experiences for me.

So far in Kirby Air Riders demo I've either been targeted for elimination by the entire lobby, hit with someone lagging from fifty lightyears away or got stuck in a glitch that had me infinitely zooming out from the track. This game is going to be genuinely amazing when it comes out.

I like the way people talk about USA Kirby, the Kirby on the boxart of games. He's described separately almost like he's a form that Kirby takes instead of him just becoming angrier.

The new Pikmin 4 update's not perfect, the aiming's still a little wonky but I like the NG+ and Photo Mode a lot. Gonna try the higher difficulty later but still not big on the reduced Pikmin squad sizes.

I played most the characters and machines in Kirby Air Riders's demo then went to sleep for like an hour before I had to wake up early to do something else anyway. Reminds me of my experience with the Splatoon 1 Testfires with less communication errors. Wanted to play more but tired. Fun game.

I've been playing the Hades games again and Skullgirls thinkin. Fukua and Robo-Fortune chibi heads. Their Keepsakes suck; you get one LP and a 10% chance of 1 j. HK from them once for the entire run. Their sibling relationship is even worse. #Skullgirls #Hades

I used to really like writing dumb fanfics. Used to really like just chilling on fanfic dot net but I'm not gonna lie, the uptick in robots that spam your reviews and inbox with "hey let me draw your story trust me" in obvious fake robo compliments really sapped my motivation.

I keep thinking about the current $70-80 price for AAA games. Like...we live in an age of video games where now more than ever you can get some of the greatest games ever made for less than half the price, some because of sales and others because they release for less.

Back a few years ago before Restoration and RvB Zero came out I remember being told not to bother past S13. I'm glad I decided to watch the seasons anyway. Not my favorites but still had Red vs Blue character moments I liked. Wash, Carolina and Donut had good moments.

Thank you NMH and Pokemon fans for pointing out the No More Heroes 2 fight skip in Legends Z-A. They kinda do something in NMH3 but you do actually fight someone in those fights after the fake outs at least.

I don't think Drawn to Life is one of my favorite games because of the 2D platformer gameplay. It's fine, but I don't think it's spectacular. The movement doesn't feel as good as other platformers and sometimes the camera can feel really zoomed in.

Self-reminder of how much I love the original Drawn to Life. The game's about 18 years old from the original release date by the time I finish this drawing(I was late). Jowee and Mari, the Raposa from that game.

I'll be real with you. I gave up on this Melinoe sketch. I think when I try to imitate styles with a lot of technical ability and grace my hand fails before the art looks good so here. I like Hades I and II. Mixed thoughts on some ending stuff for II but I love the characters.

Part of me wants to save up to get the new Pokemon Legends Z-A just to try the new battle system. But mostly so I can win a bet against someone in the Anon Train on whether the new Hex Maniac is actually a Hex Maniac trainer class.

I'd probably voice more opinions on the state of Skullgirls over the years but a lot of them are mixed and I'm not 100% confident that I've got EVERYTHING right. All I really think I know is that no one in the world was ever TRULY ready for Skullgirls and its launch party.

IDK if I like the newer shift in direction for games like Pikmin and Splatoon. I feel like the small pieces of humanity are parts of their series but I kinda liked the restraint in older games.

I like imagining Joseph using his Stand with every object he owns and the creeping feeling of dread when he realizes all the expensive 1980s film technology is the only thing that works with Hermit Purple's photos. "Unfortunately," is so funny to me.

This brush test ended up being more of a background study than anything else that was only tangentially related to Skullgirls. I wanted to make a cover for a Lab 0 story but couldn't really think of anything. This Robo-Fortune and Fukua ended up being semi-unrelated, but I still like it.

Honestly besides 3DS comparisons and maybe the Wario game I haven't thought about the Virtual Boy this much since the 2015 pre-E3 video with Reggie.

Nintendo Direct of September 2025, cool. I think there are some neat things shown but I'm not all too excited. Couple of new things, couple of things we knew about, it's y'know.

There are people allergic to enjoying things. I have seen cases where someone will argue about stuff like Dragon Ball, Fate/stay night or JoJo's and refuse to read, play or watch any of it from the beginning. It's like...so many people just gatekeeping themselves.

Filia and Samson. Her involvement in the story modes has her as a very determined young woman suffering from amnesia. Her generic before battle quotes gives off the vibe of "who are you ok time to beat your ass". She doesn't have all the info but she persists.

DMC2 wasn't so bad to me, but I did play enough to understand why people said it was. That Infested Chopper fight especially stood out to me. Is there like a "right" way to fight that boss that all the Devil May Cry 2 enjoyers found that I didn't? Or the fish fight with Lucia?

I still think about Travis Strikes Again and No More Heroes. I'm really glad that all those Kill the Past fans encouraged newcomers to play a bunch of the games in preparation for No More Heroes 3.

It's surreal watching the Internet get cut up and tossed away practically every day, some ways obvious and other ways nearly invisible until you realize there's a gap where something used to be. I've tried, but I still feel out of my depth when I see it.
